About Corrie

Corrie Aune was born in Dallas, Texas and graduated from Baylor University in 2019 with a journalism degree and minors in nonprofit marketing and poverty & social justice studies.

In May 2023, she graduated from the International Center of Photography’s one-year program in Documentary Practice and Visual Journalism. Corrie is now a freelance documentary photographer in New York City, focusing on issues of gender, spirituality, and equitable community development. Through her work, Corrie utilizes creative, nuanced storytelling to spur peace, empathy, and justice.

She is currently based in New York City and available for assignment.
